Why Amazing Audrey’s Brittle Exists

One of my fondest childhood memories is walking into my mom Audrey’s kitchen and being greeted by the comforting aroma of peanut brittle cooking—fresh peanuts, golden sugar, and just a hint of vanilla. That smell meant the holidays were near, and so was the joy of sharing.

Mom never kept her brittle to herself; she filled tins and plates to share with neighbors, friends, and family. Years later, I made her recipe for a bake sale, and it sold out within the first hour. That was the moment I knew I had captured her magic.

Now, each batch we make is a way to honor her tradition and share a little sweetness with you. I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed making it.
